Anyone out there running airbags on their suspension in a second gen tacoma, I was looking at maybe getting some to take the sag out of my suspension when I'm hitched up to a loaded trailer, any feed back on how well they work, or if they're worth it. I know they'll be stiff riding with air in them but I'm curious, can dump the air in then and not have as stiff of a ride when I'm not hauling anything, or should I just switch to a load barring spring and deal with the stiffer ride full time?

    Just a couple things
I bought some firestone ride rites to tow a 5000 pound trailer cross country. love em. still use them. I have mine on daystar cradles as well so they arent connected at either side.

Thats with a 5000 pound trailer and 400 in tires in the back

Im biased but I recommend them

Just purchased the Air Lift "Ride Control" springs (#59561) and Wireless Air Remote Air Compressor (#72000) from www.SDTruckSprings.com. They were by far the best price for that combo, free shipping. I'll post sometime next week when they show up and I get them installed. Went with the Air Lift, which are rated at 2000lb because of the tow ratings on my DCSB. See a lot of good reviews for the Firestone products as well.

15 DCSB with TRD Pro suspension, hope the remote reservoirs don't cause a problem with the mounting brackets!!!!

Thanks TacomaWorld members for all the great posts and info!

Dragnaknee, Where under the hood did you locate a switched side of the ignition for the AL004 15 amp ignition source?

I have installed the ride rite kit by Firestone love them so much decided to keep them and use the Wireless Air Remote Air Compressor kit (#72000) from www.SDTruckSprings.com.
Kit was fairly easy to install with the exception of the electrical under hood, right now i'm connected directly to the battery everything functions fine.

However I would really like to hook to the switched side of the ignition on a 2014 Tacoma TRD but the connectors in the kit do not work in my fuse box,
I contacted AIR LIFT COMPANY tech support but they said they had not seen the micro fuses before and could not help.

Anyone out there in TW land found a suitable contact point?

    Thanks in advance.
