So I recently inherited a 2004 2wd tacoma and I bought all the parts to convert it but I need help with the conversion. I'm mechanically inclined but extra sets of hands couldn't hurt and my set of tools for this particular job are lacking. I've also never taken on a project this big before. I traded my old tacoma for a new car but I'm dying to get back out there and I miss offroading so much that I'm trying to sell my car and invest the money into my truck to get back on the trails. If any of you guys could help that'd be amazing. I'm located in Sacramento. Thanks guys

If you were closer I'd be down, but Sac is too far. Are you just needing help with the mechanical install or electronics as well?

I wasn't going to do any wiring. It's a mechanical setup so none is really needed except for the 4wd light. Just need help with the mechanical aspect, mostly the transmission removal, I heard it's a PITA.
