sorry for the late response. installation on a '14 TRD Sport was a no-brainer. I guess if your reverse cam display is in the dash, you can disregard all the instructions about the wiring on the mirror.

I didn't read through every page. Wondering if this works for a 2008 and if not what are my options

 

I'm not sure if the ImMrYo will work with 2008. There is also this bracket available. It claims 05-13.

I don't care for the design. Be careful about how much weight you have on your rear view mirror mount. Some posts with cracked windshields in that thread. I've never seen one with the ImMrYo bracket.

Received last week, didn't have a chance until Sunday to install

Love it, you don't notice the blind spot until you're at a multi lane intersection. Opened the world up.

Keeping it and check is in the mail, actually had to find the checkbook, haven't written a paper check in a while.

I mounted my Escort radar detector. no problems.

 

I don't know how much the gopro weighs or how you would attach it. I have a homelonk mirror and probably wouldn't chance it.

One way you might get it to work, when you receive it it has a 1" square foam piece on the backside up top that faces the windshield. I thought about, and still might, peeling that off and going with a good double sided tape about the same thickness. It fits pretty tight to the window anyway and that would offer a secondary support for a truck with stiffer springs or that takes good jolts.

 

Mounted mine last weekend. This week, driving has been much improved. Another great fix to a problem Toyota shouldn't have made. I'm short and I still don't see the reasoning behind putting the mirror in the way.
