well I finally got my CB installed.. Cobra 75wsxt.

was able to find a nice little snooch spot for the connector box behind the aux outlet bezel, drilled out a small spot on the center console to attach the mic, then ran the coax through the firewall and snaked my way up to the front passenger side where I'll have the antenna mounted. I went with a 4' Firestik, HD spring, and a cool lil stud mount (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049B769O?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00 ) but cant decide exactly where to mount it. I'm torn between using one of the tabs on the ARB light hoop (sits kinda high, but great SWR), or drilling a spot on the bumper itself, near the PS corner light, and keeping it a little more lo profile. Thoughts?

I think this is a good spot to mount the mic, as its pretty out of the way of things but still at an easy reach. @Madjik_Man

NP and thanks, I hate clutter! Its kinda tight in the center console and behind the lower dash bezel, but not too much of a PITA

Haha yea thanks for snapping me back to reality!
The 1st gens don't have a ton of space under the hood, so I'm trying to figure out how to fit both.. Might have to utilize the spare tire space..
    Thanks buddy

Seriously dude, friends don't let friends drive stock!! ;)
