    I would say about 4 hours if you do the full round trip. Thats trail time not your commute back and forth. Shorter if you head to the 15 at the turnaround point which I'm expecting to be around Soda lake which is where the south end of Zzyzx road is. There are 2 roads that will get you back to the 15 Rasor Road and Basin road if you have to get back earlier.

    Fun day today...right up until my diff hit a big fuckin rock and started leaking. Sorry about the early departure. Luckily it happened right at Basin road which runs directly to the 15 freeway. Made it home, will take the time tomorrow to fix it. I agree with RL that canti setup on the first gen was sweet. LSK does some great work. Some pics and video.

    Sorry about the oil. When we got to Lenwood I did a quick fix with a bar of soap. Caked it into the gap between the 3rd member and diff housing. It actually stopped the leak. Right now sitting in my garage it hasn't leaked yet. Learned about this a long time ago when a buddy of mine got a small puncture on his gas tank in the middle of no where outside of San Felipe on Mexican I-5. Guy in a motorhome stopped to see if we needed help and told us about the trick with soap. My buddy actually drove for a month like that till he got it fixed.
