The HU in the Owner's Manual does not match the unit installed in the vehicle. I'm missing the Play/Pause button on the right and the CAR button on the left. I'm not sure what I should have and what I shouldn't.

I bought it used and have already started mistrusting the dealer.

The manual shows a publication date of 2012.

Regardless of what is in the owners manual, which is generic and not specific to your exact truck.

There are several variations of head unit depending on exactly which model and package came on the truck from the factory. Some have steering wheel controls, some don't; some are satillite ready some are not; ....

Didn't you look at the stereo before you bought the truck?

Yeah...but you know how it is. I paired my phone, got some tunes happening, looked at the nav and took it for a spin. I may be getting paranoid over the whole dealer thing...I might be suffering from buyer's remorse. I actually made a mistake...I meant to say it was the Display Audio System book, the one dedicated to the HU that doesn't match. I don't know much about these trucks. All I know is with or without certain features it is miles ahead of the 04 Colorado I got rid of.

Going from a 04 Colorado to any Tacoma puts you miles ahead in any case in my book. ;)
