The forum design is great. However, I miss being able to scroll different sections of the forum and see threads that I have/haven't replied to as indicated by the zig-zagged arrow going across the envelope icon. Is there any way this can be reimplemented or is this no longer a feature available?

Click the forums button twice to see the full forum like the old site.

Same for watched threads. The ones with bold text have new replies. Clicking it will take you to the first unread post automatically

Which forum button do I click on twice to go back to the old layout?

The one right below the Tacomaworld logo in the top right. Its in the blue bar.

It won't be the old layout. It'll just be similar.

I have to log in every time I go to the site. I even click on the "stay logged in" box.

Do you know how it can be done on my phone's browser? I can't find it in any menus.

It not in a menu. Just tap either forums twice or watched threads twice.

Not sure how to explain this.... but there was a function where you could be in the thread index view, find the thread you want and literally click on the numerical value under "replies." That would then bring up a pop up box with every member who replied in that thread, with the number of respective replies. If you clicked on that number of replies it would bring up every reply made by that poster in that thread.

    That seems to be gone.

I use(d) that function a lot when searching. I would know that I replied in that thread recently and wanted to research someone's reply.

Am I missing that somehow or is it gone now?

I'm clicking on this and it is not bringing back the old view with the threads showing what I've replied to and what I haven't. All it does is takes me to the main forum overview. I'm not sure where this "clicking on forums twice" is making the old layout come back. I just want to be able to scroll through subsections and see what I've replied to and what I haven't replied to. Anything with bold text just means I haven't read it but doesn't tell me whether or not I've replied to it (i.e. Zigzagged arrow across envelope like old layout). I don't do watched threads unless it's a really important thread that I need to get email updates for.

    Like this (or something similar):

He said it does NOT make the old layout come back, it just shows up similar to the previous software version.

That's not what I want to see. I simply want to scroll through a forum subsection and see threads that I have/have not replied to. The read/unread forum posts is not the issue and this feature is still present with the update anyways

    Do you mean this then?

Yes. Personally it's easier because I don't have to rely on the other person to quote our conversation in each reply. I have it all there.

I want to see this (or some other form/icon that serves the same purpose as the arrow):
