I need help w/ installing Spyder headlights on a 2003 TOYOTA Tacoma. These aftermarket lights come as one piece, not two. The corner signal lamp and headlight are one. What do I need to do to get them to fit?

Most say you need to cut the grille ends to install them. Which it is suggested. But not necessary if you are anxious to cut. But it's a bitch to do. And very hard to explain. I have the same ones and I did not cut. I wanted to do a write-up on install, but won't have time to for a while.

Basically you use the brackets they provide and take off the old ones. You install the lights into the grille, kinda juggling them all together on the bumper with the grille resting on it. Then you install the grille with the lights in place. Bolt the lights down and finish snapping the grille in place. Otherwise, you can cut the end tabs of the grille, the vertical ones, install the grille, hen install the lights.. Good luck.

That's what this other guy said. I didn't have any trouble with the grill, I just removed it. The trouble I got is with getting that goddamn headlight in. You cut any metal out? Cause it's not like you can just slide the thing right in. I put the corner piece in first then tried putting in the rest of the headlight. I couldn't cause these fu@#!%& bolts were in the way. Is that the grill you're talking about?

What bolts? Did you remove the old oem brackets and the pivots up front, on the support?

I don't think so. I gotta take a second look. I'm unfamiliar with oem brackets & pivots. I'm going to make a second attempt at this. & if your still around I'll let you know in a couple of days. Thank's for the help.

Alright. I can take a vid on Monday possibly. Show how they are installed. I have the old brackets somewhere but not gonna search for them. But I can point out where the new ones are mounted. Mine are in pretty bad shape and my engine bay is a mess. Just warning you ahead of time. Lol.

I got it in. But I think I'm going to cut the grill. If you've already started filming, it's all good. Cause I can wait. If you got a way to do it without cutting that grill then all the better. Plus I have no idea what those clips with the nuts are for. And I don't know how to wire up that LED strip at the bottom of the headlight. Once again, thank's for the help.

The big L brackets? With the two studs and two nuts? Those are the replacement brackets to mount the lights on. I think the oem were the same. I can't remember. I put the new ones in.
