I just bought a 2015 Access Cab 4x4 with 2.7L 5-speed. It was a booger to find a 5-speed 4x4 in our area. It is the base/utility model without the back seats. Stickered at 24,400. I got $750 off that, and was happy enough. I'll drive this one for a long time.

2015 blue ribbon dclb sr5 4x4, convenience, tow, entune plus, 1.9% rate, $30,280 plus taxes, title, reg fee. norwood, ma. Approx $2700 below msrp. Dealer told me he could go $250 below truecar if I hadnt had a truecar certificate.

Seems good right? What should I try to get thrown in, tint, floor mats, your suggestion?

Bought a 2015 DCLB TRD Sport with Nav for $31,700. A local dealer was running $3000 off list price for the weekend only. Thought I did ok. I'm stoked to be in a Taco now and TW has been a wealth of info.

Helping a friend get pricing and so far for a TRD Sport 2wd dcsb for 28.5k before tt&l- is this a good price? We are out of Houston, TX.

i've got a deposit on a 2015 blue ribbon DCLB TRD sport for $31K even in Norwood, MA and $7500 for my trade-in that KBB says is worth $8239 and 1.9% financing. I have to admit I've gotten lost in the submodel varying packages and am not sure if all TRD Sports come with Tow, and what appears to be everything in the convenience package. So, I'll just say it has tow and sliding rear window, intermittent wipers, etc and also Entune Plus. Dealer had another location willing to give me a silver TRD DCLB with Entune Premium for $31K with the full $8239 for the trade-in. But I liked the blue better and would have gone with an SR5 if I had gotten silver because I liked the black accents on that better, go figure, woulda put a OME lift on it first week. But I figure I'll start with the TRD and go slower if I get there at all on mods ($$). $3700 off MSRP, holiday weekend and arrival on last day of month qualifies for some kind of monthly goal for them if that is a real story. Oh, and the best I could get the Sr5 for from them was $30,549?? ...no USAA but I used another post on here 30,059 using USAA while I was haggling with them. I also didn't use truecar and they said they could always go $250 below truecar because that is the fee that they have to pay truecar for that service....

    None yet, plenty to come
I bought mine on Saturday after negotiating with a couple dealers throughout most of May. I'm fairly certain I could have gotten a better price on the Toyota Elite care, but quite honestly I already felt like I stole the truck from them so I wasn't terribly concerned if they made a couple hundred dollars on the warranty.

    That said:
2015 Double Cab, Short bed TRD OR - Black
    Tow Package etc. etc.
MSRP after Delivery and dealer add-on's was about $35,2xx
I paid: $29,xxx - Don't really recall. I want to say $29,185 but I don't have the paperwork in front of me.
    7 year warranty about $2900
    TTL: ?
    Downpayment: $2,000
Total: $33,2xx -ish, don't really remember

The funny part was Saturday when I drove it home, the internet manager from the dealership I was with before sent me an internet coupon for 15% off MSRP. The difference between that truck and this one was the color...and price tag. That one was $32,250. Anyways, regarding that coupon I'm debating if I should just keep my prize or go at them now for a TRD Pro with the rate I got from the previous dealer.... MSRP on those is roughly $38k, and with that coupon I could drop it to $32k.

So, for future Tacoma purchasers, I would recommend a few things. First, the dealers starting price should be 12% below MSRP and from there you can start to play 2-3 dealerships against each other. If there are none around, drive and find them. If it isn't walk away, as any honest dealership will tell you that they lose money on the new side, and make it up on the used side and shop. You can negotiate everything in the deal, including the interest, the buy rate, the commission on the loan, and the hold back...everything. It also helps to have a pre-approval from a lender before walking in. Then you can negotiate as a cash buyer, and nothing motivates a dealership more than cash.

Interest Rates: 650 - 699 (avg across all 3) should net you sub 10% 700+ should net you sub 5%. After that it really depends on LTV and down payment.
Don't get the gap insurance, Tacoma has the best resale value of any vehicle (on average) for the last 10 years. Gap insurance will only benefit you for the first 30 months (at least in my deal, you'll need to do the math on yours). Maintenance is really your call, I figure if I have the dealer install my mods, i.e. throw some cash at them and I have the big warranty the less likely they'll be to say no that mod voided your warranty.

At any rate, great truck looking forward to sitting above the tail pipes for a change (coming from a GTO) and here's to many mods to come!
