Well after much thought, I descided I really want and need more interior space and didn't like my 2012 AC any more. So I sold it and got what I should've gotten. 2013 DCSB TRD offroad in pyrite mica. Love this color!
I really liked having a 6 foot bed, but really it was 5 feet with my tool box.
But I had a DC Long bed before and hated it. too long for me and looked kinda goofy.
So I will just get a bed extender and call it good. :D Not sure I want my tool box on there right now. Its nice having it, but I may eventually get a canopy..

I Love the 2013. I don't know what they did to the brake system. But they feel great and function good. Nice firm peddle and light pressure stops the truck.. My 2012 had mushy brake peddle from day one, and didn't stop as good.

This will be my truck for a long time. And the one to promote my prooducts with my little side fabrication bus.

    Pics soon to come....

Congratulations on your new to you truck. I chose the pyrite mica color also when ordering my 2014 DCSB SR-5 pre runner V-6 last year and like it even more the longer I have it. I traded a nice 2011 DCSB 4 cylinder pre runner speedway blue for it. I liked my 2011 but really like the difference with new features and driveline.:)

I believe the TRD Off Road has a different power brake booster which could account for the better brake feel.

yup if you have a 09+ TRD or 4x4 you have an entirely different abs / master cylinder thats electric hydro boosted.... much better than the rest of them.

I descided the rear mudflaps were too long also. Soo i cut them down right above the 4x4 logo. Mucho better

I had a DC long bed. And i didnt like it.
I just got a bed extender installed. And it will help alot when i need to haul longer material/stuff.

The off road brakes feel much different than the sport.

Thanks! I love this color! Cant wait to get my lift/tires on. Just need to order rear shocks and then It can go on.
Im going to hold off on UCA's for now. Not sure what im going to get yet.
I got spidertrax spacers on the way. I will run stock wheels for now. Until I find a wheel I like on the Pyrite.

I have another offroad adventure this weekend for the stock Taco. :burnrubber: Need to hurry up on the lift/tires!!!

I'm about to go the same route. Need the double cab for kids. Can't go DCLB cause they don't come in manual transmission.

So as soon as mine sells then I will be getting a DCSB 4x4 6 speed.

    Congrats!

Have you seen the scs f5's in matte dark bronze? It's like they were made for pyrites. I want them so damn bad.
