I'll probably never jump my truck. I hate sand and sand seems to be the place to jump.

I love sand. Wish there was some near me. All the simple fun of mud without none of the mud.

No, sand get's places it should never be. It never leaves your hair either. I don't like mud any more than I like sand, I will avoid both the best I can.

You should come out to St Anthony at least once with your rig. It's pretty fun. You may not have as much fun as me because even I am really under powered with my V6 and 4.88's, but a lot of the big dunes give you a running start so you can still do pretty well.

But you're not denying that it was a speed bump...

    It was not.

Speed bumps are leaf spring killers.

Lol. Everything is a leaf spring killer for these trucks.
Back in my misspent youth I used to jump my shitty 2wd Nissan pickup here (Left to Right). It's actually a pretty steep hill, and if you were doing about 50 when you hit the flat you'd launch 30-40 feet, easy. Amazing I didn't blow a ball joint or something.

Edit- You had to have your aim right, too, because the road angled to the left after the intersection, haha!
