I ordered that exact same one. This was the cable that I was able to install and connect to the truck. But it didn't allow me to change anything. I ended up returning it.

The 2nd cable I bought was off of eBay. It was this one:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/30105345819...em=&sspagename=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123&vxp=mtr

As mentioned, this one successfully installed, but cable communication was lost as soon as I plugged it into the OBDII port in the truck. They offered me a refund, but after cost of shipping back to China, I said forget it. One of these days, I'll offer it up for sale. Perhaps someone with an older truck could use it.

edit* just saw the link in the ebay listing came with 10.00.028

I am a little bummed now, hearing that you could not get it to fully work like we want on a '15.

maybe it had something to do with your OS and version of driver?

When I asked the seller about the situation, they told me that it won't work with the 2015 Tacoma. So based on that and my personal experience, I'd say it won't work. I have no idea about 2014 or other years.

FYI that only works on like 11- trucks.... 2012 + trucks will have to have the dealer do it, Or you can do it via bluetooth OBD com port and putty.

Does the belt chime work in the rear seats as well? Or just the front seat sensors?

do not pay a cent for them to change it.

Literally a 2 minute job to hook up their computer, and change the seatbelt chime option to off. I have done the dealer process with my techstream unit... and if i can do it in 2 min they can. Also this is a "customization feature" and as such should not cost you to change it.

x1 because I just did that to mine today and it took me 5 minutes to figure it out. Hate it when the chime goes off when I have stuff in the passenger seat.
