    If I learned anything from Facebook, it's that a lot of people like attention. I tried, in jest, to do the whole over the top self indulgent Facebook posts a while ago. I don't have enough energy to pay that much attention to myself. I'm not sure how people do it. Maybe there is something wrong with me but when I get a plate of food, I'm not inclined to pull out my phone and take a picture with my camera phone. I'm inclined to eat that plate of food. When I leave for work for the day, I don't feel the need to take a picture of myself, attach an inspirational quote, and hashtag something like blessed.

    I got a Google + account. I use it to follow android developer threads. No other social media for me.

    The thing I hate the most is my wife would post on Facebook "We are heading to the cabin for a week!". . I'm sitting there facepalming thinking to myself "great she just told the world we won't be home for a week...."
