That looks good! I'm in the middle of building my own also. Although mine doesn't look nearly that good. One of these days I'm going to get a welder and start learning.

I am surprised people have issues with leaking at all on these trucks. There was a good amount of time where my rack was installed without any kind of sealant at all. It also rained a lot during that period and I never experienced any type of leaking. It is sealed now but I was quite surprised that no water got in without sealant.

Just like anything that has threads and sits on a flat surface in the outdoors you could always have a leak. Metal bolts, threads and washers aren't water tight. Teflon and silicone should always be used as a precaution to protect your investment no matter what rack or component you put on your truck...:)

Just had to post a experience with FrontRunner Outfitters. I noticed the other day when I finally got around to washing my truck that one of the emblems had come off the side of the rack. They have a built in indentation where the emblem goes and it looked kind of bare without it there. I called them up and asked if I could get a replacement emblem and they were "sure no problem at all, we'll send it right out". I got a box from FedEx today and this is what was in it.

Windshield banner, 2 window stickers, 2 vinyl stickers, and 2 emblems. Pretty stand up company

I'm a fan of roof racks, they do a lot for a vehicle. I have a flat Baja Rack I bought in 2012 with expanded steel mesh floor. It weighs 50 lbs, offers excellent utility. I got it for a good price, and picked up locally. As of late, my 4.5 year old likes to climb up there all on her own. :(

Over the shell I have the Yakima System which I make work for my needs. I may swap it out in the future for a Prinsu.

    Here are some pics:

The mesh floor is my favorite characteristic. Infinite tie down points everywhere.

I'm not going to put them on (no place to put them honestly) but I thought it was pretty nice of them. :)

Just needed a emblem and a package arrived.

*EDIT* I'll put DoorDing on my truck somewhere though ;)
