Poly or oem bushings for the lca's?

 

OEM unless you have an actual competent person installing the poly. They reuse all the metal parts from the oem bushings. Ask me why i know....

 

That's true for Energy Suspension, but I just installed some Whiteline's and you didn't have reuse those rusty sleeves. I wouldn't bother with the Energy Suspension ones.

 

Word. I need to check those out. Energy suspension bushings suck

 

I just realized while installing my projectors that the engine air intake extends well up into the passenger fender. Also it looks like mud and dust from the wheel well is getting thrown up into this space since my wheel well liners are beat up.

Has anyone tried to connect the intake to some type of vent or grill in the fender? I think that could look pretty cool and reduce the debris as well. Also it would be pretty easy to add a prefilter under the vent. I've seen some cool shark gill vents that might work. Anyway it would be a less extreme step than a snorkel or hood scoop or something.

 

i got a piece of black/white plastic from a hydroponics store and cut it to the shape i needed and zip tied it in place of my fender well liner on that side.

 

I closed my elbow off and did the deck plate since I dont have fender liners

Went for a little shakedown to check suspension after a winter of doing pretty much nothing. All is well, probably need to get to putting on extended bump stops on the rear sooner or later.

 

Finished welding the new mount for the bumper and winch. I just need to clean the slag, wire brush, wipe down and paint.

 

pulled the cab of mine last weekend.

 

Is there a thread on doing this? I've got Baja fenders and just noticed my tire throws pretty much everything from the road right up to that intake tube..

 

Cool. I was just wondering what that intake tube looked like under the fender.

I almost said something when you posted the pic of the lights but I just figured you had decided to rotate to tent to open onto the passenger side.

 

I've never heard of those. Who sells them? Do you have a link you can share?

 

you can easily slide the cover off. Would light up the ladder nice..
