I'm running Icon extended travel coil-overs and TC uppers with no worries at full droop. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that your set-up is safe.

Same set up I have. The TC UCA is fine at full droop.

good to know. I have had free time at work over the past couple of days and shocks and upper control arms are being seriously considered.... and my wallet again hates me.

FYI just heard back from Total Chaos on the uppers that they offer. Their uniball provides 33* in each direction so 66* total. JBA arms are looking even better for those who dont need the utter strength that the uniball offers.

Theres been alot of debate about uniballs and ball joints in here. Maybe I missed it but I was wondering are the JBA arms caster corrected or have additional adjustment? There's not any info about it on their website. I've been planning on putting some light racing arms on my truck this summer b/c I'm sick of it wandering around on the highway with my lift but the JBA arms are starting to look very tempting if they align properly.

My understanding is that the JBA arms have about 2* of correction on them permanently. So yes, they will get alignments back where they should be if you've got say 2-4" of lift. This is much like how all the Camburg, TC and ICON tubular arms work. The LR are unique in that rather than having a fixed 2* of correction which is good for modest lift they have an adjustable amount of correction so that you can fine tune the correction anywhere from stock height to a fair bit of lift. The potential down side is that at least some people with some versions of the LR have had the correction change/shift while wheeling.

tl;dr Yes the JBA will make your alignment better if you have a lift, they just have a fixed correction.

Cool cool, thanks for the response. I'm not worried about having adjustment on the UCA as long as they're caster corrected. I was just wondering b/c their website talks about coilover clearance but didn't say a whole lot about alignment specs.

I'm another month or two away form pulling the trigger so I might sit back and see how the JBA's work out for the guys trying them out but they're starting to look better and better the more I read up on them.
