Thing is, I think my truck is worth between 19-20k. If I am gonna drop 5 grand on a super charger I might as well just trade my truck for a 24k v8 truck

Its a shame LCE doesn't offer a built drop in engine. Like a stroker 2.7 bored out to a 3.0 or something. Even if it cost $8-10k I think it'd be more cost effective and reliable than the $5k turbo kit

Meh, I went through that though process as well. Not worth it for me. Trucks paid off and I would only get the SC if I had the money. No reason to get a big heavy gas guzzlin v8.

i think most of us have 2.7 single cabs because of the price, not the size. that would be an even harder for urd to sell than the supercharger since its more than just a bolt on upgrade.

but it would be awesome if they made that. you should pull your motor out and put some high compression pistons and big cams in it.

I have my truck because it fit all my needs. I could have paid cash for an access cab with all the bells and whistles but that would be retarded. There was no need to get a 35-50k truck that guzzles gas, can go "fast", and haul unrealistic loads for the average person. I know I am in the minority when it comes to not buying more than you need but I think it is retarded to be in debt on a vehicle you don't even properly use. Same thing goes for houses. People build a house more than big enough for 5 people but only need it big enough for 3 or 4.

you can get cams custom made but i think you need to give them cores to use.
just adding a bigger cam and doing nothing else would probably kill you low end. normally a bigger cam will raise the rpm where you hit peak torque and maybe even bump up youir max torque. but if you do something like raise your compression or stroke and add big cams youll keep your low end and still have top end.

or just raise compression and stroke have a lot of low end.

most stock cams are ideal for low end torque. especially if the rest of the engine is stock.

maybe going to a towing/camper cam grind would be good though.

I wanted more mid range torque so when I do need more skinny pedal on the trail, it would have the power.

Anybody know what I should be telling the alignment tech to shoot for for my reg cab with 884 springs, OME front and rear struts, dakar leaf pack, and 265.75.16 tires on pro comp wheels? I had an alignment done right after the lift, but on the highway I'm having to steer at a angle to the right just to keep it from pulling pretty hard to the left. Any help would be great!

stuff and things that make it better
Tell him to shoot for 0 toe, 0 camber and as much caster (positive) as he can get. Stock upper control arms? If so, you won't get more than 1.0-1.5.

I'm going to try and get them tomorrow if I can get the Tepui tent on. Got my Allpro bedrack welded up and then I painted it today with bed liner and got it on. It's coming together…

Thanks man! I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out. I want to add an awning, and will probably go ARB since they are cheaper, and then just some other random stuff, but for the big stuff I think I'm done. For now at least haha.
