    I posted this in Joeys build too but wanted some advice. I am trying to find a good closure latch to finish my swingout bumper finally.

    What do you think about this style?

    Because of my design, I think that I could easily drill a hole in a thick (around 1" thick) plate and weld it to the top of my bumper and mount this clamp on the swingarm itself and when it is closed the plunger pushes into the hole and locks it in. Could probably find a polyurethane bushing to go into the hole to reduce vibration too. I have just never seen anyone use one like this.
