But I just couldn't resist what the GMC Canyon had to offer. Good luck with your 2016 Tacoma's fellas! (you can see a Taco in the background of the picture)IMG_2736.jpg

Can't blame you - that is a beautiful truck. May do the same thing myself, but probably a Colorado. Mostly dissaponted with the '16 Tacoma and the new twins are really nice.

Canyon looks nice.Hope its better than the Chevy.Have a new base model Colorado across the street from my house at a dealer and it looks like a piece of junk. The bucket seats dont look as nice and the dash looks worse.I know its a base model but my Tacoma is also and is miles ahead of the Chevy in looks.I also hate the back glass looks small and squished.

Congratulations on the new truck, man. I mostly like the exterior, never seen the inside of one. What does it offer that the 16 Tacoma doesn't that you deemed enough to make you switch?

Thanks, I've read of all of the anomalies on the twins. Most issues are few and far between, and most owners are happy with their trucks. I guess only time will tell. I'm very satisfied with my Canyon so far.

One glaring thing that was hard for me to get past was the 2016 Tacoma's looks. I'm sure in time I could "learn" to like it, but the Canyon had my number in terms of style. Interior cabin is quiet and more refined than the Colorado. If I went off-roading I'd probably buy an older Tacoma, but I don't, and this is my daily driver that allows me some level of luxury in a mid-size truck.

The new Canyons look great; especially the All-Terrain versions. I really like them. I'm still holding out till all the cards are out on the table. Meaning, 2016 Taco is out and the Canyon Duramax Diesel is available too. Only then could I begin to really weigh my options.
