Krog, wife has intentions of us pulling a camper, so need to keep, that inconsideration. Luckily, nothing big, in fact, she is thinking T@b, which I think is too small. I would think a smaller lightweight camper at most.. No 35 footer..

Just got my 2012 Baja TX Taco DCSB.
    Stock

Quick question - Stock wheels are BF Goodrich All-Terrain A/T KO 265-70-16. I'm ordering BF Goodrich All-Terrain A/T KO 265-75-16's with a 1.50 All Pro wheel spacer. Will I run into any rubbing problems? Thanks!

You don't need spacers to run 265-75-16. They fit without any rubbing issues even at full flex or stuff.

Nice.....on this Tacoma this is the way I did my anytime fog mod. I like this one the best....( no cutting or bending). I had one experience with led lights. They were nice and all but I probably won't do it again. To me, it's just much easier to stay oem. For example, one headlight bulb started going bad within 1 yr, even after putting the stock o-ring from the fog lights on the new bulbs and using a good sealant gasket to prevent the fog lenses from fogging.......they fogged., and last, because of signal interference that the led's cause....it prevented a good fm signal.......but they were bright as shit!!!

    Should I be blushing?

I forgot to mention that I have a Curt brake controller too. A real necessity.

I bought the 2" AAl from trail-gear.ca, but there is an American counterpart www.trail-gear.com.

    1) Really? How can that be when it's a closed circuit with equal pressure throughout? ... and what problems exactly?

    2) Don't you need the jounce stop plate to install the Firestones? (which look way beefier and are twice the price of the AirLifts)

I do like the fact that the Firestone mount directly over the axle, but I couldn't justify the price. But I do have an extra set of jounce stops around here somewhere.

I need to look into these Daystar cradles you speak of. Do you have a link?

    1. I had heard that when cornering the vehicle leans to the outside of the turn adding extra pressure on the air bag, which compresses it and pushes the pressure to the other bag, which causes it to expand, hopefully that makes sense, I've had a couple beers...
And you lose the ability to adjust the level from side to side, keeping the truck level.
    But, from the manual:
If you would rather have a single valve inflation system, your dealer can supply the required "T" fitting
So I guess there's not a big issue with it!
Also says: Failure to level a heavily loaded vehicle may result in excessive body roll and possible damage or injury :notsure:
    And:
Each air spring has a separate inflation valve. To level the vehicle from
front-to-back, add air pressure to both air springs in equal amounts. To level the vehicle from side-to-side, add
more air pressure to the air spring on the lower side of the vehicle. :notsure:
So I guess it's whatever works for you...

    2. Jounce plate/bump stop can be removed, there's a pic in the manual shows it not there, don't know why it's not suggested in the directions?

Any of you guys have issues with alignment on your Baja or Pro? My truck has a slight pull to the right since day one, and have been to 4 different alignment places, and it's still the same. I thought it was tire pull and swapped the front tires, but didnt work. I'm wondering if the lean offset on the front strut is causing that.

Nope, I'm all good. What lean?? The taco lean? I'd assume that Toyota would have factored that into the drive side spring to not have a lean.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
On the Baja the springs are identical side to side. During the installation there are different notches similar to the 5100 adjustable setups. The drivers side gets one extra notch than the passengers side in order to fix taco lean.

Also no real issues yet for alignment. My steering wheel is slightly off center since day one but its drives nice.

Hey Locster - What front bumper are you running, and how is your front suspension handling the weight? Looks like you have a winch in there too. Also, who's rear bumper is that. They both look great, and I might have to pull a copy-cat on you.

If you buy a Baja truck obviously it comes assembled.

If you buy the parts, it does not come assembled. You re-use your top hats and assemble it all then. There aren't any instructions buy the only thing out of the normal is the little spacer block that is for the rear brake lines. That can be a little confusing.

We all learn something new every day. Otherwise we are wasting time.

Those are Pelfreybilt front and rear bumpers.

I added full underbody armor steel skid plates, so the added weight is quite significant (~450 lbs total including the winch and sliders). The stock front and rear springs sagged quite a bit with the added weights, roughly 1/2" drop. I ended up swapping the front springs with Eibach 700 lbs/in coils, and the rear with Dakar leaf packs with one leaf removed on each side.
