Recently I installed a set of Fox 2.0 bumps that are 2.5 inch travel. From the factory they came with 200 psi in them but I was wondering what everyone is running. At 200 the initial strike seems a bit rougher than I expected. I have not had a chance to spend much time in the dirt since I got them but before I do I would like to have a good "ball park" setup so I can spend more time playing and less tinkering. I'd like for them to start off plush but still have enough ramp up to prevent harsh bottoming out.

So anybody who has played with their setup I'd love to hear from and see what results they got from what.

I did drop them to 140 already. Current setup is Fox 2.0 10 inch travel shocks with TSB leafs and the bump stops. Normally when wheeling I'll have around 200 pounds in the bed. Today I had around 700 though and that put me resting on the bumps. I drove around 30 miles with a mix of country roads and highway (all fairly smooth with your normal California bumps) and only got into the bumps about an inch. That made me wonder if 140 was still going to be too much.

well you shouldnt be tuning your bump stops for driving on the street or every day driving.

but depending on how much weight you have back there, will depend on the "perfect" psi.

go hit some sweet jumps and shit off road, (or just go offroad how your normally do) if your using all your bump stops under mild abuse, add PSI. if you are barely using your bump stops, then reduce PSI.

All the fun trails are at least two hours from me, just haven't had a chance to get out to them since I got my bumps mounted
