Has anyone done one of the full OME lift kits? I'm wondering how it rides and stuff, if you'd recommend it. That's about as much as I'm wanting to spend on a lift.

    Here's what I'm talking about.

Loads of people running OME lifts on the forum , generally they run stiffer than stock but that also depends on your coil choice , added weight , tire rating and rear lift choice

Front bilstein 5100 with OME 884 w/trim pack, 17" fuel trophy wheels wrapped with 32" toyot open country m/t, bakflip fibermax tonneau cover, Avec 30" led light bar behind lower grille, marathon seat covers in max 5 camo pattern, trimmed front and rear mud flaps, more to come.
As of right now I am running billy 5100 set at 1.75 but want to switch over to one springs. My question is which springs would I need to keep the same ride height? Being level that is. Would I need to get the 885s or the 884s? I e been hearing that it would give me a better ride quality than having the springs compressed with the factory springs and the billy up front. I want the same ride height just want a better set up with the springs. And input would be appreciated. I'm thinking the 885s would be the way to go and i know that I would have to have the spacer for the taco lean.

I am running 887s with the trim packer and a 1/2" top mount spacers. I am also running a full set of steel bumper, 3 skids, and sliders with a winch. I think the ride is great and most of my ride quality issues are with my E rated tires, not the suspension. Just don't get the 886 coils. The other coils are all the same weight. I also got the older OME shocks to improve ride quality. High speed performance suffers of course as you will bottom out more easily than the newer nitrocharger shocks.

Not on my Tacoma but I have one one my 98 T4R and I like it. I got the stiffer coils so it is a bit bouncy but it does ride good. If you do plan to go with any significant weight up front then get the stiffer coils. If not definitely go for something a little softer.

Love my OME, SPC uca and wheeler's superbumps. Only additional weight to consider for my taco is allpro apex sliders. Love that too. Have the 885 nitro and Dakar for the rear. Rear end sticks up a bit but I like the look. Ride is stiffer but in a good way. Doesn't bounce all over during turns or dips. Maybe ask a nearby tacomaworld member for a ride?
