Ive had them 2 years now. I upgraded to the new bushings and was Provided them for free by LR.

Changing them was a breeze. Used a chisel and a hammer to slide them out. No cutting required on mine

What were you doing when they broke? Have you jumped your truck at all?

here is what it looked like removed
I had to cut the bolt to get it out since it bent
I just traded them on under warranty and the new ones are different and look better so they should hold up better

Update. Went to rotate the tires the other day and found some serious cupping on the front tire. Decided to take it to the shop and have the wheels balanced. Both sides now have play in the ball joints. SPC is getting a call. Less than 25,0000 miles and I definitely am not harsh on the truck.

I called SPC about mine and should have new Upper Ball Joints soon under warranty. Everything else on them seems to be fine.

What does their warranty entail? How long will they honor it?

I had posted this in the suspension forum, but just now found this thread so figured I'd post up my recent experience. I heard my suspension making some noises so went to torque things and found this. The pic where it has a wider gap is when I had it jacked up. I bought these in 2012 and they probably have around 40-45k miles on them. I do little off-roading and go pretty easy on my truck. SPC customer service was great, new set on the way. Hopefully this issue has been resolved.

I just installed these along with 6112's. I backed into the garage today and heard a pop from front driver side. The driver side ball joint dosent seem to seat all the way to the rubber boot like passenger side did. I removed it and tried to reseat it but thats where she sits...

Also noticed bad toe in/out after install. Going to get aligned tomorrow at Toyota.20150814_132821.jpg 20150814_132844.jpg 20150814_132948.jpg

I took it apart, check for dirt, debri in the taper, found nothing. Never had a lifted truck before. Could the noise I heard be new springs, struts, uca just settling?

Question for anybody that's broken their Light Racing UCA... how are they with their warranty and replacement? Whats the process if there is one. I just completely snapped mine last weekend.
