Did you tell your ex that too when she caught you outside her window? :D

Giving up doesn't make you weak, it means you are strong enough to overcome issues and let go. Is this door panel worth the stress? Maybe it is worth it to you and that's fine but I'd never waste the time or effort taking things as far as you do. That's not a sign of weakness to know there are somethings that are not worth worrying or troubling about.

The world of perfect flawless shiny things only exists in the movies, and RollsRoyce. that is it.

ever been in the cockpit of any current fighter aircraft ? these things are the highest level of human
engineering, and they have dirt and scrapes and scratches everywhere when you get up close to them.

even the prettiest peacock on an farm... has a line of snot down it's beak and shit on it's feet

Because of Memorial Day and the number of boats needing to be completed, my Upholster had to reschedule installing my leather Katzkins till next Wed. I did get a price however of 100.00 per door to cover the areas we have been discussing here, with matching leather. He has a perforated charcoal leather that matches that area of the door panel perfectly. Instead of plastic it will be leather covered. I'm going that route then I'll have nice leather seats and that bad area on the door panel leather wrapped. Then the inside will be solid and look much more upscale. Cant wait. Katzkins come first then two weeks later the door panels will be done....

Not sure if they had to replace the window with the new door panel but I got some glue on my door panel when I replaced a window and it looked very similar to that. The glue was was shiny but smooth in texture and wouldn't come off.

Well, two good things happened...you found out your panel was better than it could have been, and you saved some future owner from having a panel worse than yours, 'cause you had it ordered to replace yours. Now it will sit on some shelf and not bother any other ocd owner down the road. Good job!

    No.

And, I'm not seeing any spots on my door panels either.

The test driver for Toyota that gets behind every single Tacoma to make sure you are getting a fine quality vehicle is a greasy mofo and doesn't shower.

Why not just grease up the rest of the panel? Problem solved!
