Love this shot of the interior while I was lucky enough to have the truck on display on behalf of A.R.E. at the Bassmaster Elite Series in Lake Havasu.

I posted on another thread about putting patches on the headliner, I don't have any patches.. Never had a purpose to buy any. However, this is starting to look cool as hell the more I see it! Do they just stick to it?? Or what?

As for the BullyDog tuner, what does the tune consist of?

Wow, those are kick ass leather seats. I love the AR. Is that pistol silencer functional or just for looks? I live in Commiefornia so fire arms with "evil" features is a foreign alien to me.

I believe that the one that your talking about is from Silencer Co. And that is gonna be legit, Tax Stamp and all.

Looks like they popped that mold without putting any Dynamat on the back wall first ?

Any velcro backed patches will just stick right to the headliner. It's a fun way to remember places you have been, brands you love or quotes that make you laugh.

The cans are definitely real and functional :D

I opted for no dynamat at this point. Maybe in the future I will line the whole interior though.

The problem is with that box already molded to the raw back wall...you can't go back and add it later. You couldn't add it right now because it is approx 1/8" thick on every surface which completely changes the shape of the back wall for a tightly molded box like that. Honestly not meaning to troll your thread but this is an area I am very experienced with and doing a sound system without Dynamat is akin to having a long travel front end with stock rear leaves and a block. Just seems like a "miss" for such a dialed build as yours ? I am super curious as to how they are going to eliminate vibrations between the back wall and box ? Sub boxes flex quite a bit, slightly less if ported but still flex and vibrate tremendously so a box fit so tightly to the back wall is going to tough to eliminate vibes as the box breathes and vibrates. They would need at least some small strips of dampening material and bolt the box through the back wall in multiple places to make it solid enough not to vibrate like a hood rats trunk lid ...

I'll be sure to let you know what they did, or just give them a call and ask for install details. I just stopped in and took a picture of the box so far... This shop has been in business longer than I've been alive and they do high end installs all the time and were highly referred to me by multiple people and builders. I'm not worried about what the end result will be.

IF its Glasses as an exact mould to the back wall, generally for your type and size/ power you don't need the deadener there. The tolerance between the box and the metal should be rather low and won't vibrate to bad as the cab will offer additional stiffness to the box. If that box flex's you need a new box, sealed or ported. A properly build sub box should have very limited flex and again, with the power parameters your using i doubt ur going to get much potential for flex.

Lastly, evenflow, Dynamatt is simply a product and it grips me by the balls when people refer to deadener as dynamatt

Just an update for those worried about sound deadening material after seeing an "in progress photo"...

The box was made with the exact dimensions as the factory which includes space for "padding".

They used HushMat to line the back.

Defconbrix how is the heating and cooling in the katzkin? I live in Hawaii, so heating isnt the issue but i wantes to know how good/strong is the cooling? I drove lexus's with this feature and its a nice touch but lexus's one isnt that strong so i was wondering how is it in comparision?

I'm not sure how anything would compare, first cooling set-up I have had, but I am incredibly happy with mine and use the cooling option 90% of the time I am driving - freaking love it!

    Beyond my expectations!!!
Soundwarehouse in Salt Lake City... Bravo!

I had a few ask me on IG if they could make this same box and ship it out.
If anyone is interested I can run down to their shop so they can duplicate mine if needed for anyone.

    Here's their number: 801-485-0070

I'll try to get some more detailed shots taken this week. They really nailed it. I had quite a few expenses with getting the same Katzkin material to match the seats etc but I don't know what just the box would be alone. Give them a call for a quote.

Random interior shot I snapped while walking back to the truck the other night while out exploring near Eureka, UT — an old mining town.
