My LDL sucked, was 350 before I was on meds..the meds dropped it to 250. Last summer after losing 30 pounds it was 62 and got off the meds. I had my checkup 2 weeks ago so eagerly waiting to see where it is now..

Great Job on loosing the weight and getting the cholesterol down!!! You've gotta feel much better too!!

Mine has always hoovered around 200 forever when I had my 'active' job. It would drop to 175 if I was going to the gym on a regular basis. Now, with this office job....It went up to 265. That was the push to start walking & running (for me anyway). I got rechecked 3 months later and it was back down to 200. I'm curious to see where it is now with a more regular running routine.

My husband stopped taking his meds a few months ago since we started running....I hope he makes an appointment soon to see where his will be.

Good Luck with your fitness goals and keep up the great work!!!

the bar I figure is about 40-50 bucks anyway. The plates seem slightly larger than 1", like 1 1/8"..Billard I think is the name. Not an issue, I can just use a 2.5 plate on the inside of each side.

So today i felt like doing something different,
I ate 200g carb and 50g protein 90min before my back attack max effort GVT type day.
Once i warmed up I started

    135x20
    225x15
    315x10
405 till fail, forget the number
    505x8 till fail
    595x3 till fail
    635x1

Then back down on the same weights all till fail
All in all was a good day, I didn't have access to chalk ( left mine at home ) and had to resort to wraps at 505.
The 100% increase in carb for my pre-work out meal made a huge difference for me.
I also had to drink an extra 2L of water with that.

Next week ill warm up, and do the same process but off a 2.5 inch block
At 505 ill increase to 4 inch block till i fail again

Then on the way back after 505 ill stand on the 2.5 inch block and do deficits

    what yah guys think
Ps i have vids of most of this- only thing is the Gf recored it on her iPhone with some super fast speed recording something making a set of 8 take 3 seconds to watch lol
