Just buff it out and wrap with duct tape so it won't spark and set fire when it drags on pavement

I tried a big hose clamp, torqued to 58.3 ft/lbs. I changed the fluids in the pack too.

BS aside... I had the leafs replaced. The gas tank inches to the right made me move on this quickly. Dealer was great - ordered them over the phone sight unseen and 2 days later, done. No charge as my VIN did turn up under the recall campaign. And yes, they replaced both sides.

Here's the interesting nugget, because Toyota has not yet decided on a fix yet for these leaf issues, my new leafs are considered a temporary fix. They told me Toyota could come up with a different manufactured leaf pack meaning they would replace mine again. We like to knock Toyota for all the rust issues that plagued their customers, but what other manufacturer would have stepped up lake Toyota has been doing with the frame issues over the last 8 years or so? That kind of loyalty to the customer will most likely give me cause to buy another Toyota product when it's time.
