Some pics of the flooding we had here in Wimberley over the weekend. The river rose to a record 41' before the gauge broke, they are not sure how much after that.

These cabins actually floated across the road to where they sit in this picture.

It will be a long time before it looks like this again

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Got a pretty heavy thunderstorm before lunch hour today. I was at work so I wasn't able to take any pics, had some loud thunderclaps and heavy down pouring. We need the moisture badly up here though, had a dry winter so that'll make for a hazardous fire season.

not sure if this is legit or not, but supposedly this is six flags in texas.

on a side note, let's hope today's tornado producing storms dodge us again...one looks to hit the north side of town and another south of us.

I'm a recent transplant to the OKC area, and we've been getting pounded.

And that's not even mentioning the tornadoes that go with the storms.

Many a time I've been thankful to the Tacoma's engineers putting the intake way up over the right wheel. Had a couple of "to hell with waiting for these idiots, I'm takin' a shortcut....wow, this is deeper than it looks" moments since getting here...

Lake Hefner, a giant aquifer on the NW edge of OKC that supplies I think around a third of the regions' drinking water, has gone up around 4 feet in the last 3 weeks or so.

As wonderful as that is to see (my office is right on the shore) it's still a good 5 feet or more below 'normal'
