Guaranteed that the new Chevy buyers will be trading in on the 3rd Gen. A lot of Tacoma owners in Canada. Chevy uses a lot of cheap plastic. Drive one and see how cheap they are.

I have, and the quality of materials is superior to that of the 2nd gen. Tacomas. I'll have to wait and see how the 3rd gen. Tacomas compare.

I think what he means is that GM has a terrible reputation in Canada. I'd support that statement. I've never seen there transfer cases or driveline hold up more then 5-6 years on farms around here. Those are the last items to go on any other truck.

True that. You just don't see Colorados' flying through the air in the Middle East with machine gun mounts on them!

People order when the dealer doesn't have the truck in the configuration they want. All dealers have are DCLB, which nobody wants. :p

This happened to Audi in the eighties. There was a lot of bad publicity toward Audi only to find out it was driver error.

Perhaps GM is holding back because a shortage makes the Colorado seem more desirable? I predict we'll see them broke down and on fire like GM's other recent trucks soon. The past is the best predictor of the future.

Exactly buddy and don't be surprised by Toyota fan boys on Tacomaworld either. I guess I'm one since I'm a fan of Toyota trucks nothing wrong with that, Tacoma has served me well.

There aren't enough high school graduates in Missouri to figure out how to get excess inventory onto the trains. Turns out, it's nothing at all like Hot Wheels.
