Not sure why everybody gets fixated on the magical "3" figure , all trucks are different , the coils and leaf springs have manufacturing tolerances and everybody gets slightly different results

    I wouldn't be sweating a 1/4"

I wouldn't sweat 1/4 inch either. I believe I was at 2.75 post lift, before adding my skids. I still have to remeasure and post final results.

installed an OME lift complete struts with spacer up front and full leafs in the rear , the ride is kinda rough but the biggest thing bothering me is how violent bumps in the road feel in the steering wheel. If anyone has had this problem and fixed it or knows anything about please help. It's on a 15 double cab with 33" tires. Thanks

887s are good for 3" of lift without any added weight, with a steel bumper you'll lose some height

Do I need extended rear break lines with the Dakar rear leaf packs (no leafs removed) and N182 shocks in the back?

Just finished installing my 887s, dakars, and LR UCAs... FINALLY!!! Lift has been sitting in my garage for at least 6 weeks!

Me and my GF's brother knocked it out in about 4 hours... He's a mechanic with air tools in his garage. Huge timesaver for sure.

Only real issue we had was the rear driverside lower shock bolt didn't want to line up... Took a little finessing with the BFH haha!

Need to take measurements on the rear still, but front is right around 3.5". No alignment yet, but I hit 65 mph and it felt fine... And only a little shudder under 10-15 mph.

I'll get some better pics and rear lift numbers after work...

You don't need longer rear break lines with the dakars but it won't hurt to have them

Did you get an alignment? What were your castor values? When your castor values are close to 0 you maybe experiencing bump steer, where any bump you hit, wants to steer the truck. The ride for me got smoother not rougher with OME in the front (using AllPro in the rear but similar in that the stock leaf springs were replaced0. One of the best and cheapest mods is to switch out the bump stops for Superbumps from Wheelers. The stock bumpstops may as well be metal on metal contact; its a severe hit. With Superbumps, bottoming out the suspension is hardly even noticeable.
