2005 access cab front passenger cab mount. HOLE!

replacement frame apparently has been ordered with:
    Lower control arms
    balljoints
    wiring harness
    brake lines
    leaf spring
    shocks all around
    spare tire mechanism
    nuts and bolts that brakes

2-6 months of waiting. They let me drive the truck because the service manager said it does not really affect the main frame.

    Mixed emotions..

That's exactly what mine failed from. Same year and cab truck. It was about 6 months from when I first got the inspection to when I got my truck back. I drove mine for 3 months with it not being state inspected (winter time I wasn't driving in the day light  ). Then they gave me a rental for the last 3 months. (I was starting to drive in daylight couldn't risk it no more.)

How does driving in daylight make a difference if your frame is "pooched"...?? Do the frames only fail during daylight hours...?? That would be good to know as I never drive mine during the day.... My frame should last forever...!!

His inspection sticker was invalid, but that's only really visible in the day time

Took mine in for the inspection in November, had two holes, but was not a safety issue, so I was allowed to continue driving it, scheduled for frame replacement June 1. Six months waiting, they said due to a backordered wiring harness. Repairs are supposed to take one week, which they will provide a loaner.

If you just had this inspected,it will be way over 6 months to get it done.
I'm at 6 months now,and the backlog keeps getting bigger & bigger.
