    I think it's the rim. It has brand new tires on the fronts. But a barrel should be about 500 but idk about shipping.

    notice any bends or cracks on it? Expensive just for one...well, unless the other 3 are a deal lol. The same guy who fixed my weld supersingle is supposed to fix my snowflake stock that cracked too.


    Im motor swapping my friends 2.7 taco. He bought a motor from someone that told me theres no oil in it, was originally told it was rebuilt..but when talking to em it came down to that he only changed gaskets. Well, I had to swap oil pans cause 2wd motors doesnt work on 4wd trucks. I had the "new" engine up in the air….noticed one oil pan bolt was snapped and had 3 finger tight on there. Unbolted it all and fucking thing dropped to the ground. I shoulda checked oil, but I was told there was none in it and to my surprise it was full with black. No oil pan gasket either. I ended up going over the motor and valve cover bolt washers/seal were just cleaned up and thrown back on. There is clips on the harness thats bolted to the block that were loose/not tightened really good. Water pump is original. I didnt pull the valve cover…but I doubt any thing was changed. Needless to say, think my friend should have rebuilt my spare 2.7 instead of buying a cleaned up, freshly painted motor with a LC Engineering sticker slapped on it.
    Anyhow, tore apart the motor in my friends truck, that he also over paid for..mostly cause odo was under 130k. One day when he was almost home, it shut off on him. He checked oil and it was mixed so he thought blown headgasket. Yesterday when I dropped his pan, this is what I found. Those two lines on the pick up is from me scratching it with my nail. Even though I let the oil drain from this motor for like half an hour, there was like two inches of sludge on the bottom of the oil pan. I didnt notice it till I went to clean the oil pan…the timing chain was sitting at the bottom. My friend snapped his timing chain.

    So idk about picking up used low mileage mainland vehicles from used car dealerships. The same dealership sold my friend a very late 90s 4runner with under 90k(with 01-04 taco stocks) that within 2 months lost compression/water and oil mixed(someone had poured in radiator stop leak or blue devil or something that clogged the radiator, made it overheat). The tacoma im working on looked good, but shit, either someone never changed the oil or maybe the cluster or odo was changed. The same dealer, gencos/kaloko auto, by costco…years ago I stopped there cause had a late 90s truck I wanted. I was in my old tacoma at the time, which was a 2002. Fkn guy was trying to get me to trade in my tacoma and give cash for the truck. I walked away laughing.


    So now im here motor swapping a motor into a truck. motor swapping a 3.4 into a 80s/90s toyota seemed easier.

    No noticeable bends or cracks. Took it to K&J multiple times. They couldn't find anything. I'll try take it again see if they can find out what's wrong again.
