So... I guess then the 887' will not sag as much as the 886'!?

I think it's just up to what you add on the 887's. Bumper, winch etc... If you are going to add a heavy front bumper and winch get the 886 if your going to get an aluminum front bumper w/ winch get the 887 or maybe even the 885. Does that make any sense?

886 has a stiffer spring rate that is designed for added front weight

So I'm looking at getting 886's w/ Dakars but can't find a definitive answer in the 350 pages in this thread.

Do the dakars come with bushings on front and rear or not? I've heard they do, I've heard they do not, and toytecs website says "bushings included", but I'm still not sure if they're talking about front and rear or just front.

Some vendors yes , some vendors no

Looks like Toytec ships with the additional bushings

That's what I was thinking but there's so many different people in this thread with different experiences that it's hard to tell. I would just call them up and ask, but I'm currently deployed so it's hard to go pick up a phone lol.

    Thanks Oz

That's what I figured, but want to be positive before I go placing orders blindly since I can't just pick up a phone from like 7000 miles away. So aside from that, is there anything else I'll need with 886/Dakar combo? I know stock brake lines are good. Are new bumpstops needed?

Are you going to have the coils/shocks pre assembled ?

If I get a bumper that is 90lbs and add a winch to that would y'all recommend the 886 or 887 coils? I know the 886 are made for extra weight but idk how much weight.

Did anyone have fit issues with the 60091 shocks fitting into the lower mount in the rear? On both sides it was extremely tight and had to bend the mounting bracket out a bit. Still did no go in smooth. Seemed like the bushings on the lower shock eye were protruding out more than they should, comparing to stock.

When the truck is on jacks and no pressure on leafs, with the top of the shock out of the mount I can still move it back and forth with some force as the bushing intended. How freely should it pivot in the lower mount?

Trying to trouble shoot some possible rear issues with bushings being too tight on the shocks, shackles, and leaf springs causing a stiffer ride than intended.

I know there are fit issues with 2015's and these shocks, but didn't think there would be for my 2009.

Then make sure to get the OME 5mm trim packer for the driver's side coil

thats to help eliminate the taco lean right? its not gonna put too much pressure on that drivers side coil even with an 886?

edit: nvm, its only 5mm like you said. i was thinking it was something else.

Hello gentlemen, long time reader, first time poster.

Last weekend I installed an OME kit on my 05 DCSB Sport. 885 Coils and 90000 shocks in the front, top plate spacer as well. Dakar leaf set in the back.

The truck is currently in for an alignment. While that is being done, I'm looking at tire choices. My current ones are pretty much worn down, they are 265/65/17.

My question now is, what tire, and how much trimming will it require.

    I am debating a Goodyear Duratrac 255/75/17 or a Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX 255/80/17.

The OME kit gave me about 2.75" to 3" in lift.

I'm willing to do some trimming, just nothing excessive.

    Any thoughts?
