So... I just got my new Tonno Pro Hard tri-fold tonneau cover (HF-551) for my 2015 DCSB (5' bed) last night. I didn't have time to try installing it last night and have to work today (bummer), but I did get it unpacked and noticed something that I had a question about.

It appears that there only clamps for the front section (knob type C-clamp) and the rear section (handle type C-clamp) and none for the center section. It would seem to me that all three sections should have clamps for the cover to sit/seal properly.

As I said, I haven't had a chance to put it on and check the fit/seal, but does anyone else here have a Tonno Pro HF-551 on a DCSB (5' bed)? Only two sets of clamps? How is the fit/seal?

Does anyone have the HF-550 for the standard 6' short bed? Does it have three sets of clamps?

My Tonno Pro soft three fold cover only has clamps at each end for a total of 4 for the top. It holds it in place just fine. I would guess the hard top version is the same.

I have a 6' bed version, only four clamps!
    Cheers

Thanks guys. I actually got time to get it installed last night and it works and looks just fine. The plastic clamping pieces seem like they might be a little flimsy, but I haven't heard of any issues with failures. On to my next mod.
