Pyrite Mica grill options: pics?

Does anyone have pics of either of these grilles on a pyrite mica? I'm trying to decide which to purchase. Thanks!

 

The stock TRD Sport grille?

 

That's just a sport grill. If you are looking to get colour matched I'm pretty sure you can purchase just a colour matched grill surround rather than getting the surround and insert (I assume you have the insert already)

 

FWIW the first grill is the same as the second, except a TRD badge that you can find on eBay and attach yourself. Derp or matte black spray paint will match it to the grill surround like the pic shows.

 

great info- thanks! I didn't realize they were essentially the same grill. I thought there were two different color matched grills available. no decision to make now! will get it ordered thanks, guys.

 

yeah I do have the chrome grille and insert like the above. stock SR5. I didn't think I could buy the surround independently. I'll look into it.

 

I'm not 100% certain on that but I thought some people have been able to purchase just a surround. Maybe someone who knows for sure could chime in

 

am I correct in assuming the sport grill will fit an SR5 with a standard hood?

 

Yeah, grills are same specs / dimensions, just some colour matched and some not. You would need to be looking for 12-15 grills, grills earlier than that were different. I'm sure you probably know that but just in case

I have a stock insert for you if you need? Or are you looking for the surround also? I put the Pro grill in mine and the stock one is just collecting dust.

Did you paint yours yourself or is that OEM ?

 

Mine was like that OEM. All the sports are color matched i believe. If you find a surround cheap and just need the insert let me know. Glad to give it to you.

 

Thanks- go ahead and give it to the next guy. I've got my insert with the chrome exterior now. I'll prob just buy the whole thing and then sell my chrome with insert intact.
