From my experience we used a Lincoln 210 mig and made full passes on the outside and atleast 6" spot welds on the inside of each seam. The recovery points were tig welded. Point is the 210 mig was enough for my DIY relentless

It's been almost another 2 months, getting close to one year since the order was placed now. I was told 5-6 months at time of order.

Ok guys. I have only been on TW for about a year now but I feel like I must comment on the way the official vendors and buyers interact on this forum. This is not in reference to any particular buyer or seller.

First off I have been on both sides of the small business owner fence. I am a consumer obviously and also I owned my own engineering company in Florida during the boom.

Second, I understand the point and value of having "Official Vendors" which are closely accountable to the TW members. Blah blah blah. Let me try to keep it simple.

As a member and buyer I don't want to see the early stages of members bitc#ing about timeframes and callbacks and minor quality issues. This day to day chatter is something that should stay between the buyer and the seller. I think the reasons should be obvious.

I think it is also a bad idea for late stage customer service problems to appear in the sellers main sales thread. Despite the possible benefits, a buyer simply has too much power if they can accuse a seller and s#hit all over a sellers page and completely shut down their business on this forum. If we are going to be judge, jury, and executioner then at the very least it should be done in a separate customer service thread and moderators should keep it out of the main thread. In the real world a consumer protects themselves by using credit card or insured Paypal vendor payments where a complaint can be opened and resolved offline or even in small claims.

Why should anyone care? Well mainly because many of us have open transactions with these sellers that are jeopardized when buyers air their complaints in the sellers main thread. Also many of these sellers are offering highly customized and unique products or services that cannot be sourced at any other place. Some of these guys work alone or have a full time job and the s#it gets done when it gets done. This is not Walmart or Midas. I for one don't care to see a guy put out of business over a small percentage of failed transactions deals. There is no business in existence that has a perfect record and sometimes it is the buyer that is at fault.

    Rant mode off. Peace.

I kind of agree with you but it was nice to see this thread before I ordered my bumper so I had a better idea of the time it would take for my bumper to be completed. The quality of Erics work is amazing. My Front Relentless bumper doesnt even compair to the allpro I had in terms of build quiality and design. For me its worth the wait. My new relentless rear will be my third aftermarket rear bumper and I know it will blow the others out of the water.

Eric, how quickly will my account be updated to show that the bumper kit has been shipped when it gets shipped? Instead of bothering you by Phone/Email I've been checking my account and was just curios how fast it'll reflect the ship date.

I received my rear bumper with swing gate tire mount last week and it was worth the wait. The quality is great and it is exactly what I was wanting to add to my truck.
I agree with the above post but I have to admit I was on the other side of the fence after I ordered from Relentless. The time from order to received was longer than I was anticipating. But I kept my communication directly to Eric and he was always responsive to emails and phone calls. He is a great vendor to work with and I will probably order from him again.
It's hard to find unique quality craftsmanship out there for these products that doesn't look like every thing else out there. I had been looking for the bumper/tire mount combo for a long time. Relentless was the only fabricator that I could find that had it for something other than a Jeep. It took longer than expected and I took a lot of grief from my wife but it is a first class product. Thanks for making a quality product!

Got my new 1/4 ifs skid, DOM sliders with 2 piece kickout, and a high clearance dual swingout bumper with side and tail light protection. I couldnt be happier. My old cbi swingout would sink down and bend the whole bumper when I opened it. The relentless is solid. I could sit on one the the swingout and it wouldnt move. The guys at the shop were really nice and they even ran to the store to get some door trim to cover the cut on my body panel. This bumper exceeds all my expectations and was well worth the wait. I have had an allpro, cbi, and now a relentless rear bumper but this one isnt coming off the truck. Here are a couple pictures.
