I'm starting this thread to see if anyone on TW in the Houston Area does auto electrical work.

I have a couple things that I would like professionally installed on my Tacoma. One; I don't have all the proper tools, and two; don't want to tackle it on my own. My truck is a 2007 and didn't come pre-wired for some of the items listed below.

You can PM or email: steveh_2007@yahoo.com
    Thanks!

I forgot to mention I have the wiring harness with connectors for the backup camera... It would need to be wired some how to come on when shifted to reverse I believe

Ttt. Any suggestions for Houston auto electrictians? At first search, I have found LoneStar Electric.

I guess the Texas forum doesn't have as much activity as I thought...

You are not worried about budget? Nice! Get a 2015 or 16.

You can easily find Pop N lock installers by talking to your local places. If you can't handle a screwdriver, buying a torx fitting and a wrench to install a pop N lock....

You need to talk to your local places within 100 miles. Visit. Get involved.

Or just jet the truck to a magic place for results.

You gotta work sometimes and not call the hedge fund manager while you sip a margarita on Aruba.....................

There wouldn't be enough for a dangerous mixture man... Houston gets hot . I'll do these installs myself.

Really? This isn't a bolt-on Pop n Lock...if it were, I wouldn't be asking. Especially people like you. I'm retrofitting a back-up camera, which includes the wiring of an electronic lock with the pop n lock tailgate handle. I've been on this forum for over 7 years... pretty sure I know how to mod my own truck. I've helped a lot of people on this site since 2008, and this is the first time I've reached out for some help.. mainly just to "get involved" with Houston Tacoma folks.

And, I'll be happy to "sip my margarita" elsewhere.

Thanks Andrew! I'll definitely check them out. I drive by them on a regular basis, but just haven't had time to investigate. I appreciate it.
