Hey guys I just replaced my warped Tacoma rotors after 80K. I replace it with Hawk quiet slot rotors and Hawk HPS 5.0 pads. The braking is night and day compared to the old rotor with Toyota brake pads. I haven't had much road time with it just breaking it in slowly. No more steering wheel vibration coming to a stop on a freeway or street.

Make sure you read the directions on breaking those in. When I switched to hawk pads there was a procedure that involved 5 moderate stops to bed them in. You may not actually want to baby them.
PS those are great pads, my first set lasted me 90k mi and worked much better than stock.

Nice. I've been reviewing options for pads and rotors. Mine are getting shaky when braking down long hills or exit ramps

Hawk Performance I spent $241.81 for brake pads and 1 rotor
Hawk Brake Direct I spent $112.34 1 rotor

The reason I order from 2 places was dumb of me. When I placed my order with Hawkperformance I did not place 2 items for rotors. So I needed to order one ASAP that's why order from hawkbrakedirect.

I follow the bedding procedure on the freeway. Not many cars on a Saturday morning. Hopefully these will last as long.

Same here, that's why I could not wait any longer. Driving to Nevada and Arizona all the time I told myself I needed some good brake beside oem.

I'll update soon since I drive a lot!
