Sub! I love these Subies. I love that snow picture in the OP. I have a friend with an STI wagon in the same color. His is a Stage 2 tune, man that thing moves! Access Port is awesome. Look forward to seeing more!

Thanks man! Stage 2 is what I'm shooting for. Not overkill and still reliable with good power.

Yeah he was in a ford escape so his rear bumper was up fairly high..compared to my car anyways. He hit pretty hard though. It definitely wasn't a love tap. He was on a mission to back up and move to the other lane.

Got her back from the shop and it came back in better condition than it went it. Prior to the accident, I had a small crack forming in the front bumper, a torn up fender liner, and literally 2 days before i got hit one of my HID bulbs went out... so all that got fixed under insurance. :D

Last night I picked up a used Cobb Accessport v3 locally for a pretty good price. Just need to get a mount for it and I'll be set. Have it set on a stage 1 tune right now and it's got a bit more pep in its step. The mid range torque and overall feel is definitely 'meatier' I guess. Seems to pull a little bit stronger while under boost and just feels a bit nicer compared to the stock tune. Overall, the butt dyno is happy.

Hoping to have a downpipe, intake, and exhaust installed within the next few weeks so I can make the jump to stage 2.

    Mini update:
Scared the hell out of myself when the throttle body/intercooler hose blew off while getting onto the interstate at wide open throttle. After popping the hood and glancing over everything and having literally no experience with something like that, I made a quick phone call to one of the local tuning shops. Described the sound and issue and he was able to narrow down the possible issues. Snooped around under the hood some more and noticed the piping had almost completely separated from the intercooler :anonymous:

After taking the intercooler off I was able to finagle the piece of $!*# back into place and tighten everything down, and to my surprise it actually runs better than beforehand. The hose clamp was actually loose when I originally found the piping separated from the intercooler, this was most definitely the cause of some boost leak I had been having for some time. Probably not the preferred way of tracking down a boost leak but hey it works :cookiemonster:

Also will be on the market soon for some tires and wheels. Wayyyy too many options out there but I believe I've narrowed it down to a couple options:

First choice is the Linea Corse Lemans 18x9.5
    2c9164e02ab0ac00db6f0d62e3c65f9a_414bfdca3176f94dc9568313d053ff75f927180a.jpg

Have liked these wheels for a while and the price is right. They're kind of a BBS LM knock off but id much rather cry over chipping a set of replicas over a set of genuine BBS wheels.

Also eyeing some Enkei NT03 18x9.5's. Price is a bit more than the Lemans but they look pretty good. However, they lack that dished-more aggressive look that I really like about the Lemans.

In a perfect world id just go and dish out a couple grand for some Works but with all the lovely pot holes and moon craters Colorado has to offer, I'd rather chip a set of $1500 wheels instead of a set of $3000+ wheels.

    Give me some opinions!

Turning into Subaru World around here now. I just picked up a 2015 WRX myself as did another AZ member. Going for a similar build, already picked up some kSport coilovers, 18" Methods are on order just need to pick out tires, Access Port is on order, STi spoiler and SPT lip go on next week with my rally armor flaps. A few JDM interior mods, fog lights are next. I'll hold off on Exhaust until COBB comes out with an intake for the 2.0l

Badass man! Glad to hear it! It seems Subarus and Tacomas just go hand in hand

Coilovers are definitely on my list too. I have a strut that's blown out right now and it's riding like garbage. Luckily I picked up a set of OEM takeoffs locally to hold me over until I can order some.

    Yeah they are definitely sexy.

The Gram Light 57DR's are pretty sweet too. About $400 a wheel.

Such a tough call. With so many options and parameters I'm trying to follow it's a pain trying to narrow it down. I'm indecisive as it is so when there's hundreds of good looking wheels out there it's total brain overload.

I've always wanted one of these WRXs or a Mustang, but i've heard they can be prone to vandalism, theft, and other random acts of human crumminess. And that is why I drove a low key Tacoma. What's everyone else's experience on here?

Agreed, i think that style of wheel looks good on a lot of cars.

Personally i haven't had any experiences like that, knock on wood. There are quite a few WRX's and STi's where I live so i don't think it's too big of an issue.

Ever going to get a cab for the truck? Or at least try to pull some of the dent?

I actually pulled some of the dent out a few months back. It's still ugly but it's not nearly as bad as it was. My door open and closes normally now. It could still use some more tweaking but it's functional and looks quite a bit better.

Really not too worried about it anymore. A cab swap is a lot of work and with my luck id scrape it against a tree the first day I take it off road. The dent has just become part of the trucks personality :D and it's one less thing to worry about when wheeling which is strictly what the truck does anymore.

I'd rather spend the time, money, and effort into stuff to make it perform and function better. I'll leave the whole 'looks' thing to the Subaru.
