Sounds like fun. There is a group of people headed somewhere in SC to rids skis supposed to be like 3 days of riding on a lake that has a waterfall on it. I wanted to go but have to work. Have to look up the name of it, looked like an awesome place.

Lake Keowee..is the name of it. Ever been there?

 

Yes lol that's like 25/30 mins ride from my house, big deep lakes, lake keowee and jocassee. Have camped up there a lot and fished.

 

Might have to make the trip next year then. I can drop the truck off with you and you can do the BHLM while I play in the water! LOL

Sure just can't promise how much gas will be in it.....It has a bad addiction to that stuff!

We were in Cherokee a couple years ago. Beautiful! My signature pic was taken not far from there. We pulled into town during a deluge. The Subway Parking lot was ankle deep When we got done with our subs and it had stopped we saw why, a fairly tall and steep hill directly behind the Subway. Still had a good rest of the day, driving topless on the Blueridge Parkway

Nice!!! My next truck will probably have an 8' bed and access cab but hopefully I won't need the space for a good while.

 

400+ dirt miles over 3 days in the dirt around Dinosaur National Monument!

Gas stop in Silverthorne, CO. Lots of snow still on the mountains from a couple late-season storms. Unusually cold May.

The rain only lasted 15 minutes or so and was fairly sparse. Made it to my friend's house near Craig, CO.

Petroglyphs were about 30' above the bottom of the canyon. Ancient ladders perhaps?

Oh yeah my rear brake master cylinder was destroyed the day before so this happens when moving at a good clip and seeing a crevasse.
