A painted dash on some of the less ostentatious colours would look pretty sweet.

Dark grey, black, dark blue, or silver would be my choice for the painted dash but then again those would be my choice of colors for the exterior too.

Toyota will likely raise the price. I mean how often do you see a Toyota product priced a few K under a GM product. Toyota will ask a premium, whether they deserve to ask for it or not.

Price will no doubt go up. It's very rare for a new generation of truck to lower it's entry price. They gotta recoup the R&D costs...even though not much R&D went into this Tacoma.

Plus the full sized trucks all jumped about 3-5K in the last 3 years. I don't know if the same jump happened in the states but I would think that will have some bearing on the cost of the 2016 Tacoma.

I was more referencing the fact there's no more Blowers for the taco's. I dont know if I want to bail on my S/C.

    Early builds are often mismatched.

No clue. I'm just saying the red interior trim with the tan airbag panel is likely them putting together whatever parts they can get from vendors to confirm the assembly process.

I like the interior changes on the '12-'15 (headunit, steering wheel, new gauges which I have in my late 2011), and I like the exterior changes on all but the sport. I like the bigger scoop on the '05-'11 better.

I think I lucked out big time due to the 2011 grille.

I don't mind the look, but damn when that thing crests the hill in that offroad vehicle it's like looking up a pigs nose.
