I'm getting ready to do the timing belt on my 2001 V6 Tacoma. Found a couple all-inclusive parts kits and curious what everyone thought about the value.

    http://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Toyota-Timing-Aisin-Engines/dp/B00I0Z14AW/ref=cm_wl_huc_item

I like that one because it appears to be all genuine parts. Is the price too high?

This one is a better price but seems like it isn't all as good of parts.

    Thanks!

Just did mine. Got the Toyota Kit on Ebay. And this little gem from Amazon to get the cam/crank seals our w/o having to use a screw driver. Dont forget Toyota brand coolant. When I changed my Radiator, they gave me LL Pink. My 2000 takes Red. They switched in 2003 I believe, one gallon of it and 2 gal of distilled water (wont use the whole second gallon). http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000F...eal+puller&dpPl=1&dpID=319x8IbVbnL&ref=plSrch
Crank pully holder too you will need. Some people make them, I bought this
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000Q...pully+tool&dpPl=1&dpID=41V-33YAxhL&ref=plSrch
Worked to told the Cam gears too.
And last but not least, I found it alot easier to just take the bumper and radiator out.
    Have fun.
