Nice!! Make sure you get good and stuck so you can explain to the wife the necessity of lockers and a winch :)

Hey Jimmy! I'm digging that bedrack and swingout hard!!! I know you said jlee built the rack and your friend built the swingout do you think there is any way jlee would be able to make me the same rack with swingout? I love that setup with the tent and rotopax and other accessories seems very well thought out and the swing out being attached to the bedrack is HUGE cuz my rear bumpers already done and powdercoated haha

Yeah I'm sure @JLee could do something similar, I would just send him a pm and see what he says. I just went camping this weekend and it all works pretty well! I think everything out before I do it, I don't like to re do stuff!

The swingout looks awesome. I've been thinking about putting a swingout on my bedrack for awhile, but hadn't seen anyone else actually do one yet. Did you use the hinge & latch kit that ArmorTech/4x Innovations sells?

What are those brackets for on the back of the rack right above the tire swingout?

On JLee's truck (the PO of the rack) used them for a tire swing vertically if I'm not mistaken

Thanks a lot! I really like it being on the rack, keeps it really low profile. Yes the hinge and latch are from 4xInnovations

It's a cool feature, wish I could take credit but that was all Jlee

Yup! He was going to make a swing up using 4 gas shocks, I elected to start from scratch as I didn't think that design would work for what I had in mind.

Couple questions on your gearing. I have a manual and will be going 35". Should I regear first? Is it something I can do myself? Also cost wise......about $750 or so? Thanks......

You don't need to re gear first but you will probably want to, most likely it will be closer to $1000

Most places I've seen are about $250 high end per 3rd to set up, if you can get the gears for ~$500 installing the built thirds yourself is easy, if you want them to do everything then yeah plan on about 2k. I barely paid anything because my friend and I do the work.

Yeah I have no problem pulling the diff and 3rd. Easy peasy. I am trying to save for a browning blr in .308... but damn gears would be nice. Looks like you had fun in utah, hope we get a chance to wheel together this summer. You doing eagles lake or gold lake trips?

I'm on the fence because 2 of my friends are doing the rubicon the same weekend as the eagle lakes trip, I'm very conflicted haha.
