Beginning of summer beach meet. Meet on the beach at San Luis Pass on June 27th, 9 am to 3 ish. Bring your own food and drinks. Lady friends are welcome, I’ll be bringing mine. I’ve got an EZ Up, it would be good to have a second one out there. If you’re coming let me know, I’ll update the first post with a list of names and community items you’re bringing. Certain Nissans and Jeeps welcome. ;)

If you are 2wd and plan on coming, bring your own strap and ensure you have tow points in the event you get stuck in the sand or park on the hardball and catch a ride in. :D It was pretty hard packed last week though due to the rains. Last year we had some people get stuck just driving out to the beach though.

    Meeting place here:

I was just over there last weekend. The main route in was pretty much flooded. Let's hope that area gets enough sun to make the sand nice and soft.

Did you go thru the water? If you hang on the right side thru the first puddle, it's pretty shallow. Saw quite a few people take the newly formed "trail" off to the left over the dunes to avoid the water. It doesn't go anywhere, not to mention it wasn't legally created.

I want to come but going on a road trip 2 weeks after to Florida might put a damper on me going.
