Famous last words... I was just going to explore a little bit. lol

I have got stuck 3 times doing that recently, but winch got me out all three times.

I am sure someone already said this, but I will say it too. Make sure you pull out the seats and separte the padding from the carpet. I got water in the cab the first time I went off roading. I pulled the carpet, separated the padding and let it dry for 12 hours straight with a fan on it and it was finely dry. Then I used hydrogen peroxide to kill any potential bacteria. Bacteria is what is going to cause the horrible mold smell you get if you don't handle it correctly.

Best of luck man! Take it apart, clean it right and all is good.

 

i've pulled myself out of stucks alone with just a come along....labor intensive but it works and is cheap if you cannot afford a winch

The wrangler anchored himself off to a big tree and pulled me with his front winch.


I did reject others help because two other trucks had already tried and were just digging deeper ruts and almost getting stuck. I was already out there for 6 hours and didn't want to wait another 2 hours only to see the person who thought they could get me, get stuck as well.

And the bumper was bought only a week before this. I now have a winch in the front lol.

 

Also I took the carpet out and rhino lined the floors of the truck now. It was the 2nd time I've pulled the carpet and didn't want to do it again lol
