    You should try posting in the classified section on here as well that you WTB one. I'm guessing there are quite a few people that probably have one sitting in the garage and just never bothered posting it for sale. Also post in the Southern California section

    If I were you, I'd take up on the offer of the member from Anaheim who's willing to let you borrow it for smog. You spend one hour to drive up, swap it out in his driveway, drive to a smog shop near his house, smog it and return it to him on your way back.

    The junkyard route is iffy since you have to find the exact model for your truck, and the parts arent cheap either.

    What else do you pay for up in WA when you buy a vehicle? We pay about 7% sales tax on top of registration. About $600 the first year.

    There's a reason that no one in the "other 49" will cry when CA finally falls into the sea ......... "San Andreas" makes me get my hopes up ........... sure hope you guys that live there get some warning .......

    Sorry to hear about your troubles. When you live in an automotive nightmare state, all you can do keep a big pile of OEM take-off parts and get good at "restoring" your outfit every year for the TEST. Such is life in TWO counties here in AZ as well.

    Say what you want. I'm glad there are smog regulations in place. It's a pain and not perfect, but I remember 20 years ago when the laws were not as strict, the effect of that was pretty bad. We couldn't see any thing from the highway during the morning or evening commutes.

    Is the air here clean now? Hell no, but I'm sure it's better than Mexico City or Beijing where there are no regulations.

    Too few to list.
    I don't mind the smog regulations though it can be bit too strict here. That's why we are singled out from the rest of the 49 states. Just like the gun laws that almost prevents the law abiding citizens from our second amendment but that's whole different can of worms...

    Ugh... not even close. Born here, lived here all of my life, can't wait to get out of here and get away from these leeches stealing all of my taxes.

    But unlike several states we are not subjected to yearly inspections of our vehicles. And we have the best ocean and prettiest women.☺

    Wait guys isn't this one legal?!?!?

    Never mind it isn't :/ Bleh ughhhh anyone know any site that sales stock ones....

    AFE Cold Air Intake - MagnumFORCE Stage-2 PRO 5R;

    Is this one legal? I know it's like 300 bucks but K&N said they'd give me a full refund, so it'd cost me like 150$ and I'd just leave that legal one in...

    Cuz this site has these as not legal in Cali then this one isn't... What do u guys think??

    That one is exactly what you need. Hopefully you get it cheap or just use the buy it now and get done with it. Still less than $100 shipped.

    I said that all the way up until was about 34. I'm 37 now and can't wait to move my family somewhere else. The cost of living here and the regulations are out of control.
