Hello Guys and Gals of TacomaWorld:

HeadStrong Off-Road has been in business for nearly 7 years now. We like to consider ourselves a Mom & Pop 2.0. We are a small family owned business that values our customers and tries to offer the best possible price on all things off-road and truck related. Unlike other companies, we truly are not in business to make money hand over fist, we are here because we love what we do and who we do it for. We are enthusiasts at heart and spend many of our days off trail-riding and exploring the great outdoors. I personally have been off-roading my whole life. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest you can’t help venturing off of the payment to see where nature will take you.

Like many small companies we have many responsibilities spread among our employees. For this reason our website is a work in progress, with many pages under construction. We have access to hundreds of brands and product lines so if you can’t find what you are looking for just let us know and we will do our best to get it for you. Also, we will respond to PM’s as soon as possible but for a quicker response please contact us through e-mail. I have listed our hours of operation below. We are real people, not machines, so if you e-mail at 2am we will get back to you when we are back in the office

Monday – Thursday 9am to 5pm PST
Friday 9am to 12:00 pm PST

We are also available for local pick-ups during these hours as well as accommodations can be made on evenings and weekends with prior notice.

Welcome! I'm new here too

So I was in Hemet, CA last month visiting and saw a white Tacoma with HeadStrong on the side of it. Was that you?

That's awesome! It looked like it was lifted pretty good. What tires and lift are you running?

 

Front:
Custom HS 2" over LT kit, 8" 2.5 FOX COs with resi, 3" fabricated lift spindle

Rear (current temp set-up and always changing based on need/type of offroading):
OME Dakar leaf packs with long overload removed, HS bumps, extended 5100.

The flared fenders make it look like its lifted a lot, that and the tires (Mickey MTZ 315/70/17), but its really only got a 3" lift up front from the spindles and about 2.5" lift in the rear.

How about your truck?

 

do yall carry Bilstein 5125 12" rear shocks for a 2014 Tacoma TRD OR 4x4?

Just to clarify, the part number above is a 10" travel shock and not 12" travel. Just keep in mind the 5125 are a universal fit shock with generic valving. They do make a 12" travel shock, but due to the valving I wouldn't recommend it, better off going with the 5100 extended which is just about 11" travel.

Is the LT kit on your truck something you carry?

 

We had plans to, but this project is no longer on our list. We love the 2" over kit though, there's a bit more travel out of it and yet there's not too much push out which works great for some tighter trails. The track width of 3.5" LT kit with spindles is a bit much and is not ideal (IMO) for tighter trails. We love the desert, but we also love the tight trails that get us up and away so this is where the 2" LT keep works perfect for us.
