What would the best, longest lasting wax be for my paint?

Tons of options. For longevity consider a synthetic. I use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0. Not cheap but will last 3 months easily. May have more luck posting in the detailing section.

Thanks all. Im going to clay my truck as well. I keep reading about that on here, and want to try it. Can i buy just the clay bar alone, or do i have to get a kit? Any risks with doing that? Im going to use carwash soap/water in a spray bottle as lubricant.

You may be able to buy clay bar separately but since you need to keep it lubricated by spraying quick detailed wax on the finish just buy the kit.

I use Mothers on my Corvette and like it.

i read in numerous detailing searches that soapy water works just as good, and using pricey detail spray is a waste of money.
