I bought one a week ago, so far I love it. Seems way solid for the price! Drawers feel secure with quality sliders, the drawer latches work well, the strut assist on the lid is great and it rolls around on my concrete with my tools in it just fine. Still going to be putting more in it, havent even fully filled it yet. It's much larger once you get it home then it looks in the store. LOL
Saw a similar sized Craftsman the other day for $1300 that wasnt near the same quality. This sucker almost seems like a slightly lower quality Mac/Snap-on box at a fraction of the price. I dont think you can beat this for the average gear head guy with a fair bit of tools.

Yep. I think it's going to happen. She'll be pissed but she's usually pissed anyway so life goes on normally.

I did see the Milwaukee at HD and it might be my other option. It's about $100 cheaper. I agree that it not the same build quality but it has a few features that I like. It has recessed handles to it can bump up against other cabinets or walls, it has a bunch of plugs inside and out to keep batteries charged. I like crinkle paint of the Costco version and the locks are better. Either one would work so we'll see.

(Maybe the Costco/Kirkland version may survive the wife's car running into it because she'll be pissed)

    Check out my build
Costco is always awesome for returns and stuff too. Way easier to get a replacement if something went haywire over a snap-on or mac.

when you get the Costco one home(and I recommend a strong friend! The top is 150lbs, bottom is over 250lbs) and unbox it you attach the handles at that point. So if you want one end against a wall just skip installing the handles on that side. The left side would be better for that as those casters are fixed, the ones on the right are swivel casters for steering it around if you move it.

Better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Either way you end up in the doghouse. Better to end up in the doghouse with a shinny new toll box.

I bought one a few months ago. Great box. For the price there isn't any better.

I ran accross one of these at my local Costco for $450 last one in stock floor model. I'm going back and forth, do you still like yours?
