image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Took my yellowed headlights from dingy to crystal clear with turtle wax headlight cleaner and sealant. Apply it with a clean cotton rag and buff it till it's clear then take a clean rag and polish it up.

I used the same thing on the 4runner. Worked pretty good. A few months later they were back to the beginning again. :(

I know that this is nothing but using an abrasive to remove the outer layer... do you think a Mr Clean Magic Eraser would work? Or would that be too harsh? I cannot imagine it's worse than toothpaste or compound.

The best part is it's a one step process unlike some other more expensive kinds

Not sure why that happened. It says you can use it as often as needed. Almost feels like they are waxed when they're done.

Never even thought of that. However, if you don't seal them it's all for not.

After seeing the results posted regarding Turtle Wax 1-step headlight cleaner I spent the $8.99!!..It worked great, took a few minutes per light. Now I will see how long it lasts.Easy enough to do every couple of months if necessary.

Don't waste your time on these headlight products. Treat the headlights EXACTLY as you would when you wet sand clear coat on a car. Works better and last longer, but takes a lot more time to do if you do it right.

You don't clear coat them. You literally treat them as if you just clear coated a car's paint job. Wet sanding is all you need to do. ALL of those products are a joke. I have a 10k paint job on my show car and went to buy new lights because they were so hazy. He wet sanded them 3 years ago, still look almost brand new.

You need polish and a few things, and this does take a lot longer. But it lasts.
